You have the right to delete your account at any time. scan2help collects only the data necessary to run the platform and never sells or monetises it. If you wish to close your account, send us an email and we will process your request within 30 days.

Because scan2help is a safety platform for children, we verify all deletion requests manually to prevent accidental or unauthorised removal of accounts. Follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to info@vidhilekhalab.com with the subject line:
    "Account Deletion Request — scan2help"
  2. Include the following in the email body:
    • Your registered phone number (the one used for OTP login)
    • Your name as it appears in the app
    • Your account type: Parent, School Staff, or School Admin
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days.
  4. Deletion will be completed within 30 days of acknowledgement. We may contact you once to confirm your identity before processing.

3. What Happens to Your Data

The table below describes what is deleted immediately and what may be retained for a limited period after your account is closed.

4. Data We May Retain After Deletion

Some anonymised records are retained for a limited period even after your account is deleted, as required by Indian school regulations and our legal obligations.

5. Partial Data Deletion

scan2help does not offer partial data deletion as a separate option. To remove your data from the platform, you must request full account deletion as described in Section 2. If you have specific concerns about a particular piece of data, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.
